Return Policy for Software and Electronic Products

At GT Innovation (gt-innovation.com), we strive to ensure that our customers are fully satisfied with the products they purchase. However, due to the nature of our offerings, specific return conditions apply, particularly for software and electronic products.
1. Exclusion of Right of Withdrawal for Digital Content
In accordance with German consumer protection laws (§ 312g Abs. 2 Nr. 1 BGB), the right to cancel or return a purchase does not apply to contracts for the supply of:
- Digital content (such as software) that is not supplied on a tangible medium (e.g., downloadable software) once the download or activation process has begun with the customer’s consent. By purchasing and downloading software from GT Innovation, you agree to waive your statutory right of withdrawal once the download begins or the activation key is provided.
2. Electronic Products
For electronic products (e.g., hardware or other devices):
- You have the right to return unused and unopened products within 14 days of receipt under the EU Consumer Rights Directive, provided the product remains in its original condition and packaging.
- Please contact our customer support at sales@gt-innovation.com for return authorization before shipping the product back.
3. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
- Custom-built software or products tailored to specific customer requirements are excluded from returns.
- If the product has been used, damaged, or installed in any way, the right to return may no longer apply.
4. Warranty and Defective Products
- In the event of a defect or malfunction of electronic products, German statutory warranty rights apply (§ 437 BGB). Please notify us of any defects within the warranty period.
- For defective software, we will provide a replacement if the software fails to perform as described or is corrupted at the time of delivery.
5. Return Process
- To initiate a return, contact our customer service team at sales@gt-innovation.com with your order number and reason for the return.
- Once approved, you will receive further instructions for returning the product.
- Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned product, using the same payment method as the original transaction.
